Happy Halloween! Ty dressed up as a little devil and was adorable. Halloween celebrations began on Weds night where they had a Halloween party at Ty's daycare. It was a great event! They had storytime and snacks for the older kids. The kids could go trick or treating at each of the room. Each room had a game or activity the kids could play. Ty was just in awe watching all going around him. We were impressed at how many of the daycare teachers knew who Ty was even if they were teachers for the older kids. It again made us feel good about our decision of daycare.

We tried to get a good family photo. This was the best we could get.
The "little devil"
Ty got dressed up again tonight to handout candy. We don't get many kids to our house, so Ty got bored and needed a nap. When Ty woke up from his nap he really was a "little devil."

We spent the weekend up in Door County! It was a cold weekend, but we had so much fun! We ate at Al Johnson's for breakfast and had no wait. We then went hiking at Newport State Park. Ty took a nap on our walk. He was fascinated by the big waves on Lake Michigan-it was windy! We stopped at a winery, our favorite smoked fish shop, and a few shops. The highlight for Ty was our dinner at PC Junction. They deliver the food on a train. It was lots to watch for a little boy! We will certainly head back there again. We love that we live so close to Door County and can run up there for weekend and never feel rushed to see everything. We stayed a cabin that Matt used to stay at when he a child. It is right on Lake Michigan. You really feel like you are far away from reality. Since it does not have lots of insulation it can be really cold, but with lots of blankets and warm clothes it is really quaint and cozy.
Ready for the cold!
