SEVEN MONTHS

Why does dad always put me in ridiculous props?

Another month has gone by!  Ty turned 7 months last week.  He had a busy month with his baptism, adoption celebration and finalization, trips to the zoo and his first night in a tent.  Ty has also been developing some new skills.  He is talking all time and this past month marked some new sounds.  He says goo goo, ga ga, ba ba, la la.  When he cries or is upset.  He says ma ma.  It just melts by heart.  Ty is finding so much to talk about these days and had taken to screaming in delight when happy.  He has been able to entertain himself longer and loves to manipulate and play with his toys.  He has been reaching and grabbing for toys out of his reach.  We think he will be crawling by the end of this month.  He can sometimes get himself up on his knees from a sitting position and when we put him on his hands and knees he rocks forward.  He continues to be a good eater and has added mangoes, applesauce and summer squash to his diet.  We found out he did not like chicken as he gagged everytime he ate it, so we give him his protein through lentils which he loves.

I love bathtime!

Ty hanging out on our camping trip

Love this little boy so much!

On Saturday Ty will have his first plane ride.  We are heading to a cabin near the Smoky Mountains in North Carolina.  We are looking so forward to having a week of relaxation and spending time together as a family.  Our entire family has been sick off and on for the last 3 weeks.  We are hoping that we will all be healthy by the time we get on the plane and that the travels go well.  I am sure we will have some great photos from our trip.
