CELEBRATION WEEKEND

Wow!  We were so grateful to share our happiness with our friends and family as we celebrated Ty's adoption.  It was so wonderful to see the number of people who came.  It was a fun day and both Matt and I wished we had more time to talk with everyone.  We barely saw Ty, but heard he did very well with the day.  A big thanks to Kate for taking pictures of the day or else there would be none.  Unfortunately we were so busy there was no picture of Matt, Ty and I for this great day.  Also, a big thanks to my parents who helped to make some food.  We are still eating a few of the leftovers.  :)

On Sunday we had Ty baptized at our church.  We wanted to wait until the adoption was finalized to plan this special day.  It was a very busy day at our church, so the service was much longer than usual.  Ty did very well.  He did not mind the water on his head and did not even make a peep throughout the actual baptism.  Along with some of our family we also had a number of our friends at the service.  A special thank you to Kate and Sean for being Ty's godparents.  We can not think of two better people to be this special person in Ty's life.
