We spent a lot of time closer to home in late July and early August. It was sure nice to enjoy many of the things Green Bay had to offer. We went to the beach in Algoma (too bad the water was nasty smelling), went to the Wisconsin State Fair, Bay Beach, the zoo, Lambeau Field, and took in some of the local pools and splash pads. It was a lot of fun to experience these things with Ty.

Ty turned 18 months two weeks ago. So, hard to believe. He is talking up a storm and can use two or three words. He likes to say things like where mommy go, mommy shoes, mommy, and more mommy. I love his use of mommy all the time. I am not sure Matt likes it much. Ty is also climbing all over the place. He climbs up on the furniture. He climbed out of his crib and one day I found him standing on top of the toilet. We have seen a major decrease in the temper tantrums, especially since he can communicate so much better. We get to the park with Ty a couple of times a week. We can't take very long walks anymore because Ty hates to be confined to the stroller or wagon. So, we make lots of quick trips to the park down the road.
