EASTER

We had a nice laid back Easter at home!  Grandma Barb and Grandpa Harold came over on Saturday afternoon before Easter.  They brought a great lunch that Ty just gobbled up.  We took a nice long walk and just relaxed the rest of the afternoon.  They bought Ty a stuffed skunk for Easter.  He loves it and calls his skunk stinky.  After they left we dyed some Easter eggs.  Ty wanted to help so much that he ended up having a bit of a temper tantrum since he was not allowed to take the eggs out of the dye.  The eggs ended up looking great!

On Easter Sunday Grandma Kathy and Grandpa Bob came over for the afternoon.  We first attended church, but it was so packed we did not have seats in the sanctuary (good thing our church is adding on).  This was probably good since we spent more time walking Ty around church than listening to the service.  After church we had Ty look for his Easter baskets and hid plastic eggs around the house.  He caught on so fast.  We kept hiding them around the house for several weeks since he enjoyed it so much.  We ate a good lunch of salmon and salad!  Yum!  It was a very fast weekend and the weather was really nice on Easter Sunday!

Ty loves the book he got from Grandpa and Grandma Lampe
