WINTER FUN!

Happy Boy!

Ty wanted to sit in the rocking chair!  He looks so big to me!

Last weekend we made the most of the winter weather.  It was one of those perfect weekends to be doing winter things.  It was not too cold and was not snowing.  We started the morning with a trip to the Winter Farmer's Market and stocked up on a few things.  We then headed downtown and eat lunch at Kavarna's.  We like that it is a local spot that uses local ingredients and is great to take a messy kid to.  From there we headed to Winterfest in downtown.  We just walked around.  Most of the shops were open and had special deals, there were ice sculpting competetions, smores making, sleigh rides, games for kids, and a chili cookoff contest.  Next we went cross country skiing.  The skis were Christmas gifts to both Matt and I to ourselves.  It was beautiful on the trails and we want to get out more often.  Ty also went along as Matt put him in our hiking carrier.  Ty really enjoyed it.  On Sunday we went bowling with some friends and Ty had a great time, too!    It was one of those perfect weekends with many memorable activities.

Ty very happy and bundled up for Winterfest!

Tomorrow we are looking forward to cheering on the Pack.  GO PACK GO!  Ty has even gotten into the cheering and waves his hands up and down when we say GO PACK GO!

Nice close up shot!
