MOVER AND SHAKER

Crawling around!

Matt and I are very tired from keeping up with our mover and shaker-Ty!  Since learning to crawl a month ago it has been non-stop.  Ty is now pulling up on his feet and standing next to furniture.  He has started imitating clapping.  He loves pushing toy cars around on the floor.  His new favorite thing is when we chase him as he crawls away from us.  Ty is starting to test what things he can get into.  He will stop when we say no, but he will go back to it immediately.

Last week we were so excited that we were able to have Ty's birthmother to our house to visit.  Matt and I were looking forward to this day as this is the first time we have seen her since we left the hospital.  We can only imagine how excited and nervous she was coming to our house.  Within 5 minutes it felt very comfortable and we had a nice time catching up.  Ty was such a ham that night and showed off all his new skills and abilities.  It was a special night and we look forward to the next time we can see her again.  We took lots of pictures.

Other than that we had a nice Thanksgiving weekend!  The time flew by as we went to Wausau on Thanksgiving and then Madison on Sunday.  In between, Matt went hunting (he got a doe), we bought kitchen chairs, got our Christmas tree (though we did not decorate it yet).  We are getting ready for this weekend when we are hosting the dessert portion of the Round Robin in our neighborhood!  It should be a fun night.

Ty was very fascinated by my parents' dog, Chloe!  Poor Chloe was chased around the house on Thanksgiving!
